The cottages are let for short or long breaks.Bookings may be from Thursday, Friday or Monday from 3 to 14 nights. (The minimum charge is for three nights).
The prices shown on each cottage information page are for two people. For additional adults add £10 per day. Children £5 per day.
Cancellations : Payment may be refunded if three weeks notice is given. An admin fee of £25 may be retained.
For cancellations within three weeks of arrival date, refunds may be given only if the cottage can be re-booked.
The charge for extra nights is £75 -£90 depending on season
Dogs( in Flagstone Cottage only) £15 per dog

Payment will be required one month before arrival . The deposit, when booking, is £70 for short stays and £100 for long stays.

The cottage will be ready after 3.30.p.m. on the day you arrive. Please ask if you would like to arrive earlier as sometimes it can be arranged. You are asked to leave by 10.30 a.m. unless agreed otherwise and is sometimes flexible depending on the dates. We often need the time to prepare for the next guests.
Towels and bed linen are provided, but please bring children's towels. There is a washing machine in an adjoining building for your use.
Logs are supplied at £5 per basket. Please bring cash to pay for logs. You can also buy extra kindling and wood from the local Skirrid garage.
The nearest (very useful) small shop is at the Skirrid garage and petrol station at Llanvihangel Crucorney, five miles away. It closes at 5p.m. on weekdays.
Abergavenny has a market every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
Supermarkets: Waitrose Morrisons and Aldi.
The nearest mobile phone signal is a ten minute drive down the valley, or a walk up to the top of the hill!
There is internet in the cottages which is limited to basic use and not for streaming films please. It is prone to slowing down by too much data.
Outside smoking only please.
One or two well behaved dogs are welcome only in Flagstone cottage, in low season. £15 charge for a dog. Please see pets page. Please contact me if you wish to bring a dog.

Oak Cottage has Wheelchair access.
Access to Oak Cottage is from a parking place outside the door of the cottage.
The ground is level outside the cottage but uneven due to a cobbled surface.
There are two steps into the cottage. Step 1. is 12cm high and 30cm deep. Step 2 is 11cm high, with and a wooden door stop of 4cm high.
The doorway is 1m wide.
On entering the room, there is a right turn into a corridor 112cm wide.
Access to the shower room and toilet is through a doorway 88cm wide.
The shower is on a tiled floor with no step.
The toilet is partly in a recess and there is a hand rail in reach.
Flagstone Cottage is on the same level as Oak Cottage.
From the parking place there are three steps up to the cottage. There is one step of 12cm into the cottage.
The toilet and bathroom is up a flight of stairs.
The mezzanine has restricted headroom which makes it less accessible to adults than children.

Cancellations
If you have booked a stay in a cottage and have to cancel your booking, four weeks notice is needed for a refund of deposit and payment. Although every effort will be made to re-let the cottage and return payment, this is not always possible.
Admin costs of £25 will be retained for all cancellations.
Please make sure you have holiday insurance.
